Growing up in a low income immigrant family, decorations weren’t a priority a birthday cake and a few extra plates of food were the celebration. We didn’t have a Christmas tree until I was 12, but that year, decorating our living room made everything feel brighter, more magical. It was just a tree but for the first time, it made me feel immersed in the holiday spirit.

 

That moment stayed with me. Overtime, I realized that decoration isn't about spending, it’s about expression. It transforms spaces, uplifts moods, and sparks imagination. I saw how a few balloons could create an underwater world. How flowers and streamers could turn a room into a fairy tale. And I thought: What if more people had access to that kind of magic?
